Soft, real vacuum sounds
Recorded low and warm, the way a motor sounds from the next room. Turn it down or off at any time.
Vacuum by Calm Machines
Quiet motor sounds. A floor covered in dirt. One finger to move. When the room is clean, there is another room. That is all it does, and for some kids that is everything.

Why we build
Vacuums, diggers, street sweepers, leaf blowers. The pull of a motor doing one honest job over and over. For a lot of children, especially neurodivergent ones, that repetition is not boredom. It is how the world gets quiet enough to enjoy.
The apps built for them mostly do the opposite: bright noise, ads between taps, a paywall right where the fun starts. So we make the other kind. One clear action, soft sound, nothing asking for attention or money, and the same room ready to play again the second it ends.
Made by a parent of children on the spectrum, building what they wished had existed years ago. Not science, just care.
First game, out now
Simple, repetitive, soft. Vacuum is where Calm Machines starts, not where it stops.
Recorded low and warm, the way a motor sounds from the next room. Turn it down or off at any time.
Change the vacuum's colors and parts until it looks exactly like the one in your head.
One finger, anywhere on the screen. No buttons to learn, no menus to get lost in.
That is the whole game. Suck up the dirt, watch the floor go clear, move to the next room.
Every room can be played again, exactly the same. Sameness is the point, not a limitation.
One small price, then it is yours. Nothing will ever ask your child to buy anything again.
The machines kids ask about most. Vacuum is just the first one out the door.
$1.99 on the App Store. One price, no ads, no paywalls, no accounts. Android is on the list.
